
A 32-year-old woman, Loveth Alo Helen has given reason why he gave fake testimony at the Zion Prayer Movement ground in Okota area of Lagos.
She said her testimony was not arranged by anybody or was induced by anyone as she took responsibility for what she said on Zion ground in Lagos.
“I did the testimony claiming that I will get it. Nobody arranged anything with me. I did not collect anything from anybody,” she stated.
She further explained that she had inspected the house before making the claim.
“We are processing to get it, and I told them that I’m coming,” she added.
Loveth was arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court in Enugu State on charges of defamation, conspiracy, felony, and false pretence after allegedly making a false testimony at the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach in Lagos.
Helen was accused of falsely claiming ownership of a five-bedroom duplex located at Plot 16, WTC Estate, Enugu, which legally belongs to Architect Emmanuel Asogwa.
The Enugu State Police Command filed the case against her, citing sections of the Criminal Code.
Court Grants Bail Amidst Denial
When the four charges were read in court, Helen pleaded not guilty.
Presiding Magistrate S.O. Chukwuani granted her ₦1 million bail, with a requirement for a surety who has three years’ tax clearance.
However, as of the time of filing this report, Helen had yet to meet her bail conditions.

According to court documents, Helen and accomplices now at large allegedly conspired to:
Defame the reputation of Evangelist Ebuka Obi, Architect Emmanuel Asogwa, and Zion Prayer Movement Outreach
Falsely present herself as the owner of the property
Attempt to commit felony
The case has been adjourned to April 9, 2025, for a full hearing.
