Super Eagles head coach Éric Sékou Chelle has named a 23-man squad for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The squad includes key players such as goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Kayode Bankole, alongside defensive stalwarts William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Olaoluwa Aina. Midfielders Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi provide stability in the middle of the park, while the attack is spearheaded by Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Moses Simon.

Defenders Bruno Onyemaechi and Bright Osayi-Samuel have also been called up, along with midfielders Raphael Onyedika and Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi. In attack, Samuel Chukwueze and Sadiq Umar add further firepower. Igoh Ogbu, who plays in the Czech Republic, has also been included in the squad.

The Super Eagles will begin their quest for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a clash against Rwanda before facing Zimbabwe, as they aim to secure early points in the qualifiers.
