Napoli Increases Demands in Osimhen Transfer Talks with Saudi Club

The excitement that hit the waves for an agreed deal between Napoli and Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli for the transfer of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen seem to have hit the rocks PeakNews Online reveals.

Reports gathered via football.italia.net site has it that Napoli is now seeking a higher fee from Saudi club Al Ahli for star striker Victor Osimhen, despite having agreed to a £67 million deal overnight. Sources indicate that Al Ahli is displeased with the sudden shift in terms and remains firm on their original offer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is still actively pursuing the signing of Osimhen, with discussions ongoing between the two clubs in Naples.

However, the deal faces complications due to Chelsea’s wage structure and the player’s demands. Although club-to-club negotiations are expected to be more straightforward, agreeing on personal terms remains a challenge.

In a separate development, Al Ahli has reached an agreement with Brentford for Ivan Toney, with a £40 million deal seemingly close to completion.

Toney was spotted arriving for his medical in London on Deadline Day, as captured by Sky Sports News. However, Al Ahli’s pursuit of Osimhen continues to require further negotiation.
