Hoodlums loot NCC building amid protests in Kano State

 

Kano, Nigeria – The Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) Industrial Park in Kano State has been looted by hoodlums as the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests commenced today.

The vandals targeted the Kano Information and Communication Technology Centre, just days before its scheduled launch. The facility was set on fire, and valuable equipment was stolen. Photos circulating online show youths leaving the scene with looted items, including computers, furniture, and electronics.

Nationwide protests have erupted across Nigeria as citizens express their frustration over the country’s prevailing economic hardship. While many demonstrations have remained peaceful, pockets of violence have been reported in various regions.

The incident in Kano highlights the escalating tensions and the challenges facing the authorities in maintaining order during the widespread unrest.
