
The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has assured the people of the state that he is committed to paying the N70,000 minimum wage, to Benue State Civil Servants.

Public Relations Officer of the Benue State Liaison Office and made available to peaknews.ng this much was revealed by the Director, Benue State Liaison Office Kaduna, Mr. Paul Gbe when he received the Executive members of Benue Diaspora Community for Good Governance, Kaduna Chapter in his office; adding that His Excellency is a “talk and do” governor.
He disclosed that, the Alia administration is committed in ensuring the people of Benue Sate especially civil servants and pensioners receive the respect and support they deserve; and vowed to continue working diligently to restore dignity and hope to all the good people of Benue State including the Diaspora community.
Mr. Gbe informed the visitors that, despite the challenges, Governor Alia has assured Benue people that development remains at the forefront of his administration’s agenda. Adding that, he will leave no stone unturned in pursuit of a safe and prosperous Benue.
Earlier in his remarks, the Director General Benue Diaspora Community for Good Governance, Comrade Atule Emmanuel welcomed the Director Mr. Paul Gbe to Kaduna as the Liaison Officer; and commended him for ensuring that Benue Community in Kaduna are feeling the impact of Government in Kaduna.
He further advised the Liaison Officer to join and support the group in its pursuit of ensuring good governance in Benue State.
Mr.Atule informed the Liaison Officer that the group was formed to add voice to what is going on at home and that the Benue Diaspora community have been making a lot of communication through various media to support the governor to ensure he succeeds.
He added that, the group is not a political organization nor affiliated to any political party but, it was established to checkmate the activities of government at all levels and to acknowledge anyone that is doing well in form of awards.
