
Kaduna, Nigeria – A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has reportedly crashed in Tami village, located in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, early Monday morning, causing panic within the community.
Witnesses stated that the incident occurred around 5 a.m. The UAV was on a routine operational flight when it encountered technical difficulties, resulting in the crash.
A local source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, described the immediate reaction of the villagers. “We heard a loud noise and rushed to the scene. We were surprised and relieved to see the pilot alive. The villagers quickly gathered at the crash site, offering assistance where possible and expressing relief that no lives were lost,” the source recounted.
Military officers arrived promptly to secure the area and commence an initial investigation into the incident.
