In a recent appearance on “Fox & Friends,” former President Donald Trump expressed his disapproval of invoking the 25th Amendment against President Joe Biden, citing concerns over Vice President Kamala Harris assuming the presidency.
Trump described Harris as “real garbage” and “worse than he is,” suggesting that her leadership would be more detrimental.
During the Thursday morning interview, Trump dismissed the idea of using the 25th Amendment to remove Biden from office, pointing out that Biden’s term has only a few months remaining. “I don’t think they should use the 25th Amendment. Not long to go, you know, we have four months now and then he’s got another month and a half,” Trump stated before criticizing Harris.
Trump argued that the global situation is already precarious and that Harris, whom he labeled a “San Francisco radical,” would exacerbate the problems. “I believe she’s actually much worse and a way worse candidate than he is and she’s not doing very well,” he added.
When asked if the United States could endure a Harris presidency, Trump responded decisively, “No,” labeling her as “the most radical person we’ve probably had in office.”
Reflecting on the 2020 Democratic primary debates, Trump criticized both Biden and Harris, remarking, “I thought he was terrible but she was terrible. She was horrible.” He also questioned Biden’s decision to select Harris as his running mate, calling her the “meanest” candidate who had treated Biden poorly during the primaries.
Trump’s comments come as political tensions remain high, with both Biden and Harris facing scrutiny as they navigate the remainder of their term.
