The Collective Movement (TCM), a prominent socio-political organization, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
Obi, celebrated for his leadership and dedication to youth empowerment, received high praise from TCM’s founder, High Chief Franklin Ekechukwu.
In his birthday message, Ekechukwu lauded Obi as a leader with “a heart of gold,” expressing wishes for a day filled with joy, love, and happiness. He emphasized Obi’s significant role in the 2023 general elections and expressed hopes for his continued impactful service to Nigeria in the years ahead, especially with an eye on the 2027 elections.
Ekechukwu’s message highlighted the current challenges facing Nigeria and underscored Obi’s influence and potential to inspire change, particularly among the nation’s youth. He appealed to Obi to reconsider his political stance and urged him to reunite with former running mate Atiku Abubakar, describing their alliance as a powerful force capable of reclaiming power from the current administration.
“With the utmost humility and appreciation, as you know sir, the situation of our beloved once-promised country is deteriorating, leaving everyone uncertain about the future. You are a force in the hearts of millions of Nigerians as a mentor and leader who can help salvage the state of the nation, most especially the youths who look up to you,” Ekechukwu stated.
Ekechukwu reiterated TCM’s belief in the Atiku/Obi partnership, citing their previous success and potential to lead Nigeria towards a brighter future. He emphasized the need for strong leadership to steer the country away from its current challenges.
Ekechukwu concluded his message by urging Obi to ignore dissenting voices and focus on the broader goal of national restoration, emphasizing that the unity and capability of both leaders are crucial for Nigeria’s progress.
Mazi Edwin Nwachukwu, Director of Media for The Collective Movement, also contributed to the announcement, reinforcing the group’s support and commitment to the Atiku/Obi vision for 2027
