Nigerian Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Dies in London

Lagos, Nigeria (PeakNews Online) – Nigerian Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away in London. The senator died in a hotel in the United Kingdom’s capital just two days after arriving in the city.

The news of Ubah’s death was confirmed through a group chat of senators, who have since been expressing their condolences and tributes.

Senator Ubah, known for his role as a popular oil mogul and politician, had recently joined the APC and was preparing to contest for the party’s ticket in the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.

While details surrounding his death remain scarce, sources indicate that Ubah made a monetary donation to the Anambra APC shortly before his departure to London.

This tragic news follows closely on the heels of the passing of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, just a few days earlier.
