*Naples, Italy* – The much-anticipated reunion between head coach Antonio Conte and the enigmatic striker Romelu Lukaku at Napoli has made significant progress.
Reports emerged Friday that personal terms have been agreed upon between Lukaku and the Partenopei.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lukaku has accepted a three-year contract with Napoli, which includes an annual salary of €6 million plus bonuses. This amount is about half of what he earned at Chelsea before restructuring his contract to facilitate a loan move to Inter Milan.
However, the agreement between the two clubs is still pending. While there is a £37 million “exit agreement” with Lukaku, this figure remains optimistic. Additionally, the completion of this transfer partially hinges on PSG finalizing their move for Victor Osimhen.
If negotiations proceed smoothly, Napoli fans could soon see Lukaku donning their colors, potentially closing a chapter in the striker’s career that has seen many twists and turns.
