Lagos, Nigeria — The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has ordered the arrest of two EFCC officers allegedly involved in the manhandling of a female staff member at Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos.

The officers were seen in a viral video assaulting the hotel staff during an early morning sting operation. The operation led to the apprehension of several suspects who are currently being profiled.

In a statement issued by Dele Oyewale, Head of Media and Publicity for the EFCC, Mr. Olukoyede condemned the actions of the officers and ordered a thorough investigation into the operation conducted at the hotel.
